A Spanish YouTuber has been exposing individuals who attempt to contact minors online — similar to the work done by groups like Dads Against Predators. Instead of supporting efforts to protect children, the media have chosen to attack the people exposing these predators.
This element (with this username on instagram) @manuelhuertascantero, a “lawyer” who also appears regularly on television as a media commentator.
He has repeatedly defended individuals exposed in these cases and has worked to discredit those trying to bring attention to predatory behavior. When someone with a public platform uses that influence to protect the reputation of people accused of targeting minors while attacking those who expose them, that raises serious concerns.
